It's been a long few months since I posted last.
We had a great Christmas and a quiet New Year's which suits me just fine. Spring is here at last and we can't wait for summer.
I am taking 4 days at the beginning of July to take Sydney to a China Heritage camp in Tulsa with her crib mate/sister. Can't wait, it will be fun. Can't believe Sydney's kindergarten year is almost over! Our baby is getting big!
She's done very well this year at school. She is in the accelerated reading program in school and will be taking some gifted student programs this year. I am really impressed with her reading skills and her math! I know when I was in kindergarten I did NOT do math. She is adding and subtracting and can even do some in her head!
Yes, I guess I'm bragging, but what's a mom to do?
I started school in January. I am only taking one class for now, but it's a start. I'm working for my degree in Radiological Technology with the hopes of going on to do MRI's, CT scans etc.... I really like it, but want to take more classes in the fall if I can work part time as well.
Scott is still plugging away at his job at CAM Hospitality. We are always looking at distant horizons though for new opportunities. Who knows where the next five years may find us?
